The St. Vincent de Paul Society of Woburn takes a personal approach to our mission to assist those in need and less fortunate. Our trained volunteers meet with clients in their homes, discuss their needs and work with them to determine how we can keep help them stabilize and improve their situation.
We provide assistance with rent, utilities, school, transportation, and other life expenses.In addition we provide groceries from our food pantry and clothing from the thrift shop as listed below.
Since all our members are volunteers 100% of all donations are used to help those in need.
Our small pantry feeds over 100 families in Woburn. We provide groceries to anyone in need. Our pantry includes refrigerated, boxed and canned goods, as well as hygienic products. Appointments are made by calling the number listed below. The food pantry is located on 8 Summer Street in the lower level of the St. Charles Borromeo Church Parish Center.

Hours: Tuesday mornings from 10-11 a.m. and Wednesday evenings from 6-7 p.m. You must call prior to visiting the pantry.
The Saint Charles Thrift Shop, also located at 8 Summer Street, Woburn, Massachusetts, is in the lower level of the St. Charles Parish Center as well. Their all-volunteer staff maintains seven rooms, filled with quality clothing, household items, and decorative wares, at great prices!
The shop is open every Tuesday 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
As part of St. Charles Church, all proceeds go directly to support the parish and its adjoining school.

The Merrimack Valley Food Bank is a community-supported 501C-3 non-profit organization that provides nutritious food and personal care items to emergency feeding programs serving the low-income, homeless and hungry. They are one of four food banks in Massachusetts that serves food pantries, shelters and meal programs that in turn, serve individuals and families.
